We stand where the sun sinks

And the sky

Drinks the color

In a rush of pink and gold

We see the ocean rise

In fists of desire

To unfold at our feet

Reaching higher and higher

Into the sand

Your hand is a warm glove

Soft and electric

Love flowing between us

And through

Back again from you to me

And me to you

We will ride these joyful waves

Of time

In our hearts

We pulse in the divine mortality

We are blessed

To feel

And know what we will miss

The future

That goes on

With all of this beauty

Of which we are a spark

The sun lets go

Releases in a flame

The day

That will never come again

There is no sorrow

Just the darkness

That will lead back to tomorrow

And tomorrow

And tomorrow
